Project Overview
The Pharmacy CRM was a redesign project aimed at creating a unified, efficient platform for pharmacies to better connect with their patients. The goal was to transform our existing application, which consisted of disparate, hastily integrated systems, into a clean, delightful, and forward-thinking experience that leveraged all of our products. This project addressed key challenges faced by pharmacists, including time management, patient communication, and service expansion.
My Contributions
As the lead designer on this project, I took a comprehensive approach to addressing our users' needs:
  • Conducted semi-structured interviews with pharmacy customers to gather insights
  • Designed interconnected features based on user needs
  • Focused on creating an intuitive interface to save pharmacists' time and improve care quality
  • Collaborated with stakeholders and development team to align design vision with user needs and technical feasibility
The redesigned Pharmacy CRM was met with enthusiasm from both customers and stakeholders. Key features such as the prioritized activity list, streamlined patient data access, and automated messaging campaigns directly addressed the issues raised in user interviews and feedback channels. These improvements promised to significantly reduce time spent on phone calls and improve overall efficiency in pharmacy operations.

The scope of this project was ambitious, encompassing numerous screens and introducing several innovative features. While the complete vision wasn't immediately implemented due to time constraints, the design laid a solid foundation for future development. The positive reception from stakeholders and customers validated our approach and set the stage for phased implementation. This project showcased our ability to create forward-thinking solutions that align closely with user needs. It also highlighted the importance of prioritizing features in large-scale redesigns, ensuring that the most impactful elements could be delivered within the available timeframe. Moving forward, this design serves as a comprehensive blueprint for ongoing improvements to the Pharmacy CRM, allowing for gradual realization of the full vision as resources become available.
